Step by step to a purchase

Registration - registering of a customer

Our customers do not have to register; however registering enables you to gain discounts and access to various bonuses offered by Skateshop. After being registered, all you have to do is log in (by giving your name and password confirmed by clicking on “login”), after logging in, you do not have to give any other details so we don’t take up much of your time. To register, you need to click on “registration” and a registration form will come up. This form consists of personal information. It is necessary to fill in all compulsory sections - giving incorrect or incomplete information could cause incorrect or delayed delivery of ordered goods. When registering on our website, you can agree with receiving information on your e-mail (about sporting or cultural events organized by Skateshop.cz and our offers of various discounts and bonuses). Please note that www.skateshop.cz follows law No. 10/2000 from the Protection of personal details and information code of law)

When registering you need to state following details:

- Nickname (name) and password

- Name and surname

- Complete delivery address (street, house number, postal code and city)

- E-mail address

- Telephone number (active number we can reach you on when confirming your order)

These details enable us to issue an invoice, or to identify your payment in case you choose to pay by money transfer to our account. Your personal details are saved in our database and they are protected from unauthorized use. We guarantee that we do not give out any of your personal information and we use your details only for our needs.

Login

When you decide to make a purchase, you need to login. Please fill in your (nick)name and password (the ones you have chosen when registering) in appropriate boxes placed in right hand corner of the screen and confirm by clicking on “login”. Now you should be logged into our system (your name appears on the screen) and you can place selected items in your shopping basket.

Selecting and buying goods

Skateshop.cz was lounged in November 2001. www.skateshop.cz offers wide range of skateboarding and snowboarding products. We constantly work on extending our offer and adding new stuff on daily basis!

Offered items are divided into seven main groups (categories). Those categories are marked with big letters and they form main menu bar placed on upper part of the screen. Each category contains a list of related items. You can range the list of available items according to alphabet (brand), size, color or price by clicking on selected criteria. The list of items consists of the name of each item and its price in Czech crowns. Detailed picture of an item together with its price and characteristic will be displayed by clicking on it. Item’s picture will be placed on left hand side, its description on right side. Right next to the detailed view is a box with size. By clicking on this box, all sizes available will come up. You will also be able to view various available colors and patterns by a double-click. If you wish to order more than one piece of a chosen item, you can change the quantity in the “pieces” box located on right side of the view. In case that required quantity is not available, you will be asked to order quantity available. After clicking on icon of “the shopping basket”, the goods will be placed in your basket. In case you wish to order more items, you can keep adding them to your basket.

Shopping basket

In a preceding step you have placed chosen goods in your shopping basket, however at this point you are not obliged to purchase those items. The order can be cancelled at any time. Chosen items are listed in your shopping basket placed on the right hand side of the screen. The list includes item’s price and total price of your purchase in case you have selected more than one item. At this point you can take the goods out of the basket. Once you have definitely decided about your purchase, just click on “order”.

Prices

All prices on our e-shop are stated in Czech Crowns and are final (including 20% VAT)

Order

Clicking on “order” will take you to FIRST step of making an order. At this stage we recommend to make sure that selected items are correct. Please choose the country of delivery, way of delivery and method of payment. To send out your order, you need to click on “confirm items in basket and carry on in making an order”. Now you have entered SECOND step of your order. Here you can log in (in case you have previously registered), or you have to state the address of delivery. If you wish, you can add a note to your order. Please click on “confirm address and carry on to order summary”. This takes you to THIRD step of the order. Now you can see the list of ordered items, way of delivery and a delivery address. Your order will be finished by clicking on “Order goods” and your order is sent to our system. At this point you have made a binding order. You receive a confirmation e-mail with a number of your order immediately after sending the order. After we receive your order, we prepare selected items from the warehouse, pack it up and send it directly to you. You will be informed via an e-mail right after the package leaves our warehouse. From this point it usually takes up to 24 hours till the package is delivered (we try to get the goods ready for delivery as quick as possible).

In case you request different way of delivery, please type in your request into a space given for notes. After we receive your order and complete it for delivery, you can expect a telephone call from us to confirm the way of delivery.

Orders over 1500 CZK are delivered free of charge. Postal charges for deliveries abroad are calculated individually.

Credit cards payments

We accept following credit cards: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro.

(Please contact your bank for information about credit cards and its usage for internet payment.)

Deliveries to Slovakia

If you wish your goods to be delivered to Slovakia, please choose Slovakia as a country of delivery on your order form. The cost of delivery to Slovakia: 99 CZK. Deliveries of orders over 1500 CZK are free of charge.

Deliveries abroad

If you wish your goods to be delivered outside of Czech Republic and Slovakia, please choose “delivery abroad” on your order form. We will inform you about the cost of the delivery and way of delivery over the phone. At the same time we will ask you to confirm your order.

Money transfer

This method of payment enables paying for ordered goods off-line, by money transfer (you don’t have to be on Skateshop.cz website). Details for sending money to our account can be found on our website. WARNING: We list our banking details; payment is not carried out on our website. It is carried out over internet banking. Our bank details: Česká Spořitelna a.s., account number: 3073432/0800.

After you have chosen the way of delivery and method of payment, you need to click on "Confirm" and instructions for payment will be displayed. Click on "Continue", iformation you wrote on your order to this point will be displayed. Click on "Submit the order" and your order will be sent out to the customer care department and it becomes a binding order. Our operator will contact you during following 48 hrs via an e-mail or by phone. The customer care center will take care of your order after you have confirmed the order. Your order will be sent out to you together with the invoice (receipt). Thank you very much for your order.

Claims

1. A customer is obligated to check delivered goods as soon as possible after the delivery and report possible defects within tree days after the delivery.

2. Customer is obligated to notify the seller (skateshop.cz) in writing (e-mail) within three days after the delivery. The e-mail has to include description of the problem found i.e. what the defects are and how is it a problem for using the goods. Hand written notification of the problem needs to be mailed to registered office of the seller:

3. A claim has to include a copy of an invoice, and a receipt of payment for the goods claimed.

4. The seller is not liable for defects caused by improper usage of a product, defects caused by external circumstances, or incorrect handling. Defects of this cause cannot be claimed and are not included in the warranty.

5. The seller is obligated to notify the customer about steps that will be taken to resolve the claim within three days after receiving the claim.

6. Settlement of a claim filed with our e-shop takes up to 30 days.

7. Please inform us about filing a claim via e-mail: info@skateshop.cz or by phone on: 776 383 656 right after filing a claim (sending us defected goods).

Warranty period

Warranty period for all consumer goods is 24 months.

Claiming rights in case the contract of purchase is breached

In case delivered goods does not correspond with contract of purchase (“contract of purchase violation”), the customer has right to have the goods exchanged or repaired according to the contract of purchase without delay and free of charge. In case the exchange or repair is not possible, the customer can request an adequate price reduction or can cancel the contract. The customer is not entitled to cancel the contract in case that the customer knew about the defect before the purchase or even caused the defect himself/herself. In case the breach of contract shows within six moths after delivery, this breach of contract is to be considered as if it occurred at time of purchase. There can be exceptions according to goods characteristics or it might be proven that the breach of contract did not occur at time of purchase.

Money back guarantee

Skateshop.cz fulfills the money back guarantee so you can enjoy risk free shopping. We understand that there is no opportunity for our customers to check or try on the goods we offer. We can also mix up your order and you might receive goods that have no use for you.

In case you find out right after delivery that the goods does not correspond with your order, you are entitled to return the goods without stating any reason and you will receive your money back (money is returned by money transfer to your bank account/other forms of money return can be discussed individually).

Rules and conditions for money back guarantee:

The goods has to be entirely intact, in original intact packaging, wrapped properly, suitable to be sold to another customer.

The customer is obligated to return the goods within two weeks (14 days) after receiving the goods. Correctly filled out claim form/letter of return has to be enclosed to unsatisfactory goods.

We refund cost of returned goods not the cost of packaging and postage. Please post us the unsatisfactory goods by Czech post (we recommend registered package insured to the cost of returned goods), please do not return goods by cash on delivery - we are not going to expect the goods.

Claiming compensation for unsatisfactory goods/goods exchange

In order to have your goods exchanged or money returned, a claim form/letter of dispute has to be filled in and posted to our address stated above together with unsatisfactory goods.

Please inform us even in case of damage at time of delivery. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee faultless delivery, but we do process claims of goods damaged at time of delivery.

By “cash on delivery” is understood that goods is paid to Czech postal services, s.p. at time of delivery

Sizes and shoe sizes

Our E-shop states sizes of all shoes that we sell in American numeration (if not stated otherwise)!!! The conversion charts for particular brands can be found on our menu bar.
